Description

Stacker specifically designed for Gallo de León feather fibers and made in brass to add some weight.

How to use it:

1. First cut a small group of fibers near the raquis of the feather avoiding peeling them altogether, because this makes it difficult to align the fibers when stacking. If the fibers keep bound together use the scissors to cut until they fall apart, otherwise they will not be aligned.
2. Introduce the fibers in the mounted two-parts cylinder and hit the stacker towards a hard surface a few times. It is preferable to do it over a protector pad to avoid damaging the surface.
3. Pick the fiber with two fingers from the aligned tips and extract them pulling outwards.
4. Grab the fibers from the other side with your other hand.
5. Approach the fibers to the fixing point, make some loose turns and then make stronger ones progressively until the fibers are opened in the desired angle.
6. Cut the fibers leaving some distance to fix them properly and hiding them completely. Avoid cutting too close to the fixing point because some fibers may escape from the thread due to the their slippery nature.
